In 2012, Sagar Group set up Sagar Manufacturers Pvt Ltd (SMPL) with a world class spinning-to-shipping facility in Tamot, Near Obedullaganj, Madhya Pradesh, India. The campus has a spread of 120-acres built in with world class technology with premium residential houses within its campus. The campus comprises of 6 Spinning units and 1 Knitting unit delivering 52780 MT of yarn per annum with an installed capacity of 230784 spindle for FLO certified Yarns, CUC Certified Yarns, Better Cotton Initiative (BCI) Yarns, Regenagri yarn, Lycra Core Spun Yarns (carded & combed); ELI Twist Combed Compact Yarns, Slub Yarns, Combed Compact Rieter Yarns for Weaving & Knitting, TFO Yarn; FLOCERT Fair Trade Certified Yarns.
The Knitting Unit is in the same campus with installed 44 ultra-modern knitting machines in a combination of open width, rib & tubular have an installed capacity of 6900 tons of fabric per annum.
Sagar Manufacturers internal laboratories and research centre conducts performance, quality check and audit at various stages on raw material and products manufactured in accordance to international test standards. The standard includes American Association of Textile Chemists (AATCC), American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) International, International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and British Standard (BS), along with our buyers’ in-house testing methods. The quality Assurance lab is USTER BASED AFIS PRO 2; USTER HVI M 700, USTER UT-5 S 400, USTER UTJ-4; USTER CLASSIMAT-5; USTER UT-6 Jaguare. Our internal laboratories ensure that the highest-quality Yarn is produced, while simultaneously reducing garment lead-time through faster approvals on quality.
